Take a pause from your busy schedule and life. Move your body and rest your mind, for a full nurturing experience.

If you missed out on the day retreat this time round, we will be back (dates TBC). If you would like to join us, you can pre-register using the button below.

What to expect

Stretch & Pilates: Using Mat-based Pilates poses and equipment this safe and effective class is designed to prepare and progress you as it flows, working on your core strength and mobility. It is suitable for beginners, if haven’t exercised for a while, are a seasoned pro or carrying an injury.

Yoga: In the afternoon Martha will share two restful yoga practices. Yin Yoga, a supported practice that helps us “get into” the deep connective tissues of the body – to stretch and strengthen them. It is often described as a similar to feeling to a massage.

Then comes the magic, Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra takes us into a deep rest space, a space of support and connection, often referred to as deep yogic sleep.

We will close our day with a sound bath with Gillian Buchan. The combination of sound and vibration is known to reduce stress and anxiety, enhance mental clarity, regulate sleep, and create spaciousness within.

Gillian is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, known for blending movement, breath, and sound into grounded, transformative practices.

She was trained in sound healing at Lotos Studios Berlin, and works with blessed Tibetan singing bowls attuned to the body’s energy centres, supporting nervous system regulation, subtle emotional release, and deep rest.
